Busy and fruitful day today! We first visited CYENS centre of excellence, a scientific research centre where Dr. Andreas Kamilaris presented the work of his group on Modelling Climatic Crisis. We then visited Nicosia’s Smart City Centre where we were educated on how technology can help make our communities better and more friendly. Then we were accepted in the new Nicosia Town Hall by the deputy mayor mr Chrysanthos Fakas who talked to the students about our town and its history. We also had the rare opportunity to have great views of the city from the building’s roof terrace. We ended our morning with a walking tour of the old town and informed our guests for many monuments and Nicosia as the last divided capital of Europe
